The Winn Family | A Candid & Joyful Park Session

There’s something magical about photographing a family who lets their love shine through every laugh, glance, and silly moment. That’s exactly what I experienced during my session with the Winn family. From the moment we met at the park, I knew this would be one of those sessions that feels less like “work” and more like spending time with old friends.

I got to know the Winn family when I taught preschool and had 2 of the kiddos in class — and wow, seeing how much they’ve grown since then was such a joy! Watching them now, full of personality and energy, reminded me how fast time flies. It was neat to witness how their bond as siblings had grown right along with them.

The Winn’s showed up ready for fun — no stiff poses, no stress, just genuine excitement to play and be together. And that’s exactly what we did! The kiddos were full of energy! And don’t even get me started on their sweet pup! I had the best time chasing their giggles and capturing all the little connections that their bond so special.

What I loved most is how candid it felt. Real hugs, real laughter, real moments. And that’s where magic happens. We didn’t force popped or state smiles; instead we let the morning unfold naturally, and I got to document their family just as they are: joyful, connected, and full of love.
